Topic : " Prevention of Sexual Harassment Of Women At Workplace"
In May, 2023, the Supreme Court of India has stated that, “It is often seen that when women face sexual harassment at the workplace, they are reluctant to report such misconduct. Many of them even drop out from their job.” In order to prevent such scenario, India has taken a step in the form of a legislative act “The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013” that seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at their place of work.
Hereby, all faculty, non-faculty staff, scholars and students are cordially invited for the seminar, titled " Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace” on 31st Januray 2024 from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM, at C V Raman Hall to generate awareness regarding the topic.
