IACS CRECHE

“IACS CRECHE” is a child-care facility for babies as well as young children. It is situated within the IACS campus to help parents working at IACS. Its surroundings provide free space, green lawn and garden for the children to move around and play. It has two rooms for study and other activities like sleeping and dining. “IACS CRECHE” has a kitchen with microwave and fridge to keep the food healthy and tasty. For indoor entertainment, it has a collection of story books, music system, and TV with DVD player. It also has a collection of animation films suitable for children. “IACS CRECHE” has an extremely experienced attendant, who provides quality attention to each child.

Timings and Holidays:
IACS CRECHE working hours: Monday to Friday 10:30 A.M.to 6:30 P.M. and Saturday 11:30 A.M.to 4:30 P.M.
Our holiday schedule is as follows (As per Institute/National holiday list):

January 26: Republic Day
August 15: Independence Day
October 2: Gandhi Jayanti
Dusshera
Diwali
December 25: Christmas

Rules

Policy Matters and Responsibilities:

The IACS Creche Committee sets the policy and are the primary interface with the IACS administration.
Attendant is responsible for the maintenance, safety and cleanliness of the children.
We expect parents to behave professionally and respectfully with the day care staff. If there are specific complaints or concerns, they must be routed through The IACS Creche Committee member via email creche at iacs.res.in.
Under no circumstances must parents try to circumvent the basic rules and guidelines that apply equally to all children.
Suggestions are welcome, but parents should refrain from making personal accusations against IACS Creche staff.

Rules and Regulation:

All applications for Creche facility should be sent at crèche@iacs.res.in at least 2 working days in advance. Exceptions may be made depending on availability and convenience and subject to approval of the Creche Committee.
On a day a maximum number of six children may be accommodated, The age of children staying in the crèche should range between 2 and 10 only.
The timing for Creche is 10: 30 AM to 06:30 PM from Monday to Friday and 11:30 AM to 04:30 PM on Saturday. Creche will remain closed on Sundays and holidays.
