8th March, 2026 (Sunday) was observed globally as International Women’s Day which marked the achievements of women while also amplifying the progress towards gender equality. A day which yet again was reminiscent of creating equal opportunities for women in areas of education, employment, leadership and decision-making and above all for creation of a safe atmosphere for them to bloom to their full potential.
India observed the day with a multitude of government initiatives, community events and Pinkathons across all major cities in the country.
With a view to honour the various workplace needs of women, the IACS Authority is proud to announce Room No. 006 located on the ground floor of the newly inaugurated Mayurakshi Hostel as a dedicated Women’s Corner. The keys will be with the Security deployed at Mayurakshi.
