Sealed tenders in two parts (Part I: technical bid and Part II: price bid) are invited from bonafide, resourceful and eligible manufacturers/exclusive distributors for one HPLC System.  Manufactures/exclusive distributors should have past history of supplying this type of instrument to other reputed organizations. 

Technical bid shall comprise of Earnest Money Deposit, credential documents, proofing eligibility, Company profile and other document in support of technical capability of the Firm. The Technical bid should not contain any financial indication. Financial bid shall comprise of Quoted price only.  

The required technical specifications for the HPLC system are as follows: 

i) HPLC pump:

Isocratic with the flexibility to upgrade for gradient

Suitable to upgrade for GPC

Programmable flow rate with the option to extend the flow rate > 20 mL/minute

Configured with non-circular drive gear for smooth, uniform effluent delivery

Capable of delivering precise volumes of mobile phase with more than 40 steps / microliter resolution

Should withstand pressure upto 6000 psi

Other standard conditions 

ii) Injector:

1 microliter to 5 mililiter for analytical to preparative use

Supplied with appropriate syringe

Adjustable pressure limit more than 5000psi

Assure continuous solvent flow during injection cycle

All other standard conditions 

iii) Detector

Refractive index (RI) based

Measurement range from 10^-8 to 5x10^-4 RIU

Noise < 10^-9 RIU mode

Supported with appropriate flow cell and light source

All other standard conditions 

iv) HPLC column

Suitable for water based solvents

Molecular weight range 10,000 to 4,00,000 

v) Software

Window based chromatographic software with complete control of HPLC system

Capable of relational database for searching and filtering of information

Should have programming capability of > 10 gradient curves

Should provide primary system security and not by the operating system 

vi) Computer and UPS:

Appropriate Desktop and UPS with 30 minutes backup
