Sub: Triple Laser-Raman/micro-Raman Spectrometer along with Excitation Laser sources and Antivibration Optical Table
 

Sealed tender in two bids system (Technical Bid & Financial bid) is invited for Triple Laser-Raman/micro-Raman Spectrometer along with Excitation Laser sources and Antivibration Optical Table having the following specifications & Accessories: 

1) Triple Raman /micro-Raman Spectrometer 

Triple Raman Micro-Macro Spectrometer with Aberration corrected holographic grating. Measurment range from below 5 cm-1, easy interchangable grating for future upgrade for UV excitaion. 

  • Entrance double stage monochromator in a subtractive mount with manual entrance, intermediate and exit slits, 0-2mm for entrance, 0-50mm for intermediate slit.

  • Aberation corrected holographic grating 1800gr/mm, Focal length : >=50cm.

  •  Spectrograph stage: Manual entrance slit, Multichannel detector port, Aberation corrected holographic grating 1800gr/mm, Focal length : >=50cm.

  •  Complete electronics and computer interface for controlling and scanning.

  • Viewer for Visible range with a viewing screen for viewing the image of the entrance slit on a screen for alignment of sample.

  • Interference filters for 488nm, 514nm and 632nm.

  • Half-wave plate for visible range.

  • Manual macro/micro entry swing away mirror arrangement to work with the macro chamber when the system is equipped with microscope.

  • The laser entry attachment.

  • Manual macro/Micro/Triple commutation wheel for visible range for using both visible macro chamber and visible microscope or when using only one of these attachments with triple configurations. 

  • Confocal Microscope with 10X,50X and 100X Objectives.

  • White light illuminator.

Tender Submission Date: Tender will have to be submitted in two covers (Technical Bid & Financial bid) separately sealed and both enclosed in a single sealed envelop. Complete Tender Bids should be reached to the following address within 05.11.2010.

Opening of Tender: Technical bid will be opened at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Room of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science on 08.11.2010 in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who may like to be present. Time and date of opening of financial bid of tender will be intimated thereafter.

Note:

1.       The Technical Bid should accompany a compliance chart.

2.       Warranty clause, and clauses for on-site operational & routine maintenance training should be mentioned by the Bidder.

3.       The Bidder will arrange for providing training for using the equipments at the time of installation to the designated users.

4.       The rate should be inclusive of all taxes, transportation charges including transit insurance etc. Nothing extra will be paid in addition to the quoted rate.

5.       The Bidder should mention the model no, make and shall submit a printed literature of the product with the technical bid positively.

6.       The Bidder should mention (with proper documents) the number of installations of the system in India in last five years.

7.       The Bidder should sign on all pages of the tender document along with their company seal

8.       Guarantee certificate, users manuals etc. are required to be handed over to the user after successful commissioning of the system.

9.       The Institute authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest

10.   The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof.

11.   The Technical Bid should accompany the minimum size of the room required and details of site preparation (electrical, civil etc.) requirements

12.   EMD of 2% of the estimated cost of goods in the form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in the favor of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science is required.

13.   The tender documents may be purchased from the office of the department of Spectroscopy, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur against payment of Rs. 1000/- per set (non refundable) in cash. However, the firms who will submit the downloaded tender documents from our website (www.iacs.res.in) should deposit Rs. 1000/- (one thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque/Pay order (non-refundable) of a scheduled Bank in favour of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science payable at Kolkata with their tender in a separate envelope without which their tender will be summarily rejected.

14.   Performance Security of 5% of the estimated cost of goods in the form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in favor of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science is required after qualification of technical specification and will be refunded after successful installation of the instrument.

15.  Conditional/incomplete tenders or tender shall be summarily rejected.
