Sealed tenders are invited from bonafide, resourceful and eligible manufacturers/exclusive distributors, who are enlisted to Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, for a Probe Station by the Registrar by 14^th February, 2011 upto 5-00 P. M. and will be opened on  16^th February 2011. 17^th February, 2011(Updated on February 07, 2011) . Manufacturers/exclusive distributors should have past history of supplying this type of instrument to this or other reputed organizations. 

The required specifications are as follows:

(i)  Metal or Metal plated chuck for mounting on probe station

(ii)  Four or more probe submicron X-Y-Z micropositioner module with minimum distance of approach of 5 micrometer. Better resolution of approach (fine & coarse motion) is preferred. 

(iii) Microscope module with objective 10X or higher, Zoom in the range of 0.5-5X or higher. Lateral X-Y movement for the microscope will be preferred.

(iv)Vibration isolation table for the system

(v) Low noise level measurement probes for the measurements and Low noise level output cabling capable of measuring at least pA range.

(vi) Suitable tips for contact to the sample. Additional tip package will be preferred.

Wafer based probe station with temperature control option will be preferred

Temperature control module option in the range of 77K to 500K or better will be preferred.
