Sealed tender in two bids system (Technical Bid & Financial bid) is invited for Kr Ion Laser with cooling system and Vibration free Optical Table having the following specifications & Accessories: 

1) Krypton ion Laser

•   A 4-5 Watt all line visible krypton ion Laser including Laser head: Must have the following Lines 406.7 nm, 413.1 nm, 468 nm or 482 nm, 530.9 nm, 568 nm, 647 nm and 676 nm. Additional lines like 415 nm, 488nm and 752 nm may be present.

• Output power of the 413 nm and 647 nm should be greater than 1 W and those for the rest of the lines should be greater than 300 mW immediately after installation of the laser.

• The Laser tube should be manufactured by the same company who makes the Laser and not any third party.

• Low-Noise Magnet with a cooling system to minimizes vibration due to water turbulence.

• Remote controlled external aperture.

•  Power supply.

• Complete set of prism assembly for all excitation wavelengths offerred.

• Complete set of prism assembly for Multiline operation.

•  Remote control unit with automatic wavelength search.

• Proper transformer to operate the Laser.

• Proper chilling system to operate the Laser.

• Laser power meter for 10^-4-10 Watt range.

• The vendor should state the required utility condition for running the Laser.

Tender Submission Date: Tender will have to be submitted in two covers (Technical Bid & Financial bid) separately sealed and both enclosed in a single sealed envelop. Complete Tender Bids should be reached to the following address within 05.11.2010.

Opening of Tender: Technical bid will be opened at 3:30 p.m. in the Council Room of IACS on 08.11.2010 in presence of the bidders or their authorized representatives who may like to be present. Time and date of opening of financial bid of tender will be intimated thereafter.

Note:  

1.      The Technical Bid should accompany a compliance chart.

2.      Warranty clause, and clauses for on-site operational & routine maintenance training should be mentioned by the Bidder.

3.      The Bidder will arrange for providing training for using the equipments at the time of installation to the designated users.

4.       The rate should be inclusive of all taxes, transportation charges including transit insurance etc. Nothing extra will be paid in addition to the quoted rate.

5.       The Bidder should mention the model no, make and shall submit a printed literature of the product with the technical bid positively.

6.       The Bidder should mention (with proper documents) the number of installations of the system in India in last five years.

7.       The Bidder should sign on all pages of the tender document along with their company seal

8.       Guarantee certificate, users manuals etc. are required to be handed over to the user after successful commissioning of the system.

9.      The Institute authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest

10.   The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof.

11.   The Technical Bid should accompany the minimum size of the room required and details of site preparation (electrical, civil etc.) requirements

12.  Conditional/incomplete tenders or tender shall be summarily rejected.

13.   EMD of 2% of the estimated cost of goods in the form of A/C Payee Demand Draft in the favor of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science is required.

14.   Performance Security of 5% of the estimated cost of goods in the form of A/C  Payee DD in the favor of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science is required after qualification of technical specification and will be refunded after successful installation of the instrument.
