Sealed tenders are invited from bonafide, resourceful and eligible manufacturers/exclusive distributors, who are enlisted to Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, for a Fluorescence Spectrometer UV-VIS-NIR range by the Registrar by 14^th February, 2011 upto 5-00 P. M. and will be opened on 16^th February 2011. 17^th February, 2011 (Updated on February 04, 2011) Manufacturers/exclusive distributors should have past history of supplying this type of instrument to this or other reputed organizations. 

The required specifications are as follows:

(i) Excitation Source : 450 W xenon short arc lamp or any other suitable ozone free excitation source. The preferred excitation wavelength range 230-1000 nm.

(ii) Monochromators: Double grating excitation for excitation in the wavelength range 230-1000 nm and single/double grating  emission monochoromator in the range upto 1300 nm. Appropriate optical component to measure up to 1700 nm will be preferred.

(iii) Wavelength Accuracy: :±0.5 nm with sub-nm resolution and suitable scanning speed.

(iv) Detectors: Excitation correction from 240 nm-1000 nm, high sensitivity in 240nm-850 nm range and to cover upto 1700 nm or more.

(v) Instrument must include automated Polarizers for excitation and emission pathways. The polarizers should be fully computer controlled and can be manually set or automatically controlled for polarization, anisotropy or G-factor correction is essential.

(vi) The instrument should be compatible with remote fibre optics measurement. Fibre optic platform with light from excitation monochromator and redirection to emission port.  A microscopic attachment option will also be preferred.  

System should be fully computer controlled with necessary software for the system control data collection and data analysis. Software for Nano particle size measurement and analysis would be preferred.
