Sealed quotations are invited from bonafide, resourceful and eligible manufacturer/exclusive distributor/vendors for supply of one (1) High Precision (Vertical Condenser) Rotary Vacuum Evaporator with Heating Bath together with the following compatible accessories  

                       a) Two Stage Diaphragm Pump 

                        b) Vacuum Valve 

                        c) Auto accurate Temp. Sensor 

                        d) Woulff Bottle with bracket 

                        e) Glass ware set 

Quotations may be submitted to Professor Brindaban C Ranu, Department of Organic Chemistry, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, Kolkata – 700032 (e-mail: ocbcr@iacs.res.in) by 1 PM on 25^th January, 2012. The quotations will be opened on the same day at 02.00 PM at Prof. Ranu's Office in the presence of intending bidders or their representatives 

GENERAL INSTURCTIONS:

1.   Incomplete & conditional quotations and quotations received after the due date will be summarily rejected without assigning any reasons thereof.

2.   At any time prior to the bid due date, IACS may, for any reason, whether at its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective bidder, modify the bidding documents.  The amendment(s) will be notified in the Institute website.  Prospective bidders are advised to occasionally visit the website for any amendment www.iacs.res.in/tender

3.   Payment: 100% against delivery and successful installation.

4.   Warranty:  Minimum 1 year Warranty

5.   Validity of tender: Tender submitted shall remain valid at least for four months from the date of opening the tender. Validity beyond four months from the date of opening of the tender shall be by mutual consent.

6.    The rate should be inclusive of all taxes, transportation etc. Nothing extra will be paid in addition to the quoted rate.

7.    The model number, make, and a printed literature of the product shall submit positively.

8.    Proposed delivery schedule should be mentioned clearly.

9.    Manufacturers/exclusive distributors/vendors should have history of supplying this type of instrument to this or other Scientific Organizations.

10.  Authorized Dealership Certificate is must in case of principal manufacturing company is not quoting directly.

11.  Guarantee certificate, users manuals etc. are to be handed over to the user after successful commissioning of the system.

12.  In the event of date being declared a closed holiday for purchaser’s office, the due date for submission of bids and opening of bids will be the following working day at the appointed time.

14.  The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof.
