Sealed item rate tenders in two bid system (Technical & Financial bid) are invited from bonafide manufacturers for supply, installation, testing & commissioning and 5 years post warranty comprehensive AMC of 6 x 15 TR Air Cooled Package Type A.C Unit for the Library Building (1^st floor) of IACS, situated at 2A & 2B Raja S C Mullick Road, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700 032.  Tender documents may be purchased from the office of the Architect, M/s Ghosh, Bose & Associates of 6, Harington Mansion, 8, Ho-Chi-Minh Sarani, Kolkata-700 071 (from 10.00 A.M. to 5.00 p.m.) on all working day against cash payment  of  Rs. 500.00 (Rupees  Five hundred only) from 18.10.2010 to 25.10.2010. The tender shall be submitted through two separate sealed envelops viz. “Technical Bid” & “Financial bid” covered by a third envelop in sealed condition. The third cover shall bear the Name of work, NIT No., date of opening, sender’s name etc. on the top of the envelop addressed to the Registrar, IACS, Jadavpur, 2A&2B, Raja S.C. Mullick Road, Kolkata-700032 to be submitted to our Receiving & Despatch Section on or before 03.11.2010 (up to 2.00 P.M.). The EMD in a separate envelop should be submitted with the tender which will be opened before opening of the Technical bid. The Technical bid will not be opened if the EMD is not submitted with the tender in proper form & shape and the offer shall be treated as cancelled.  The Technical bid will be opened on the same day at 3.30 P.M. in presence of the intending bidders. The price bid will be opened on a subsequent date for them who will qualify in “Technical bid”. However, if Holiday is declared on the due date of opening, the tender will be opened on the next working day. In that case, tender will be received on the next working day also up to 2.00 P.M. Conditional tender including conditional rebate, and incomplete tender shall be rejected.

Issuance of tender paper:   The interested MANUFACTURERS fulfilling the Product specifications and agree with the terms & conditions of this tender document may apply to the Registrar, IACS on their letterhead for issuance of tender paper.

Downloaded Tender paper: Complete Tender Document will also be available on the website of I.A.C.S., www.iacs.res.in and can be downloaded for submission. Those who will submit tender by downloading from Website should deposit Rs. 500.00 (five hundred only) in the form of non-refundable Demand Draft/Pay order/Banker’s cheque drawn in favour of Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science of a scheduled Bank payable at Kolkata along with the tender in a separate Envelope. Downloaded tender without the cost of tender paper will be summarily rejected.
