1. Sealed item rate tenders in
two part (Part-I: Technical Bid; Part-II: Price Bid) bidding system are invited
from bonafide, experienced & resourceful firms for the work of “ Supply,
installation and commissioning of Kitchen equipments / appliances in IACS
canteen”.
2. The work is estimated to a
cost of Rs. 7,97,000/- (Rupees seven lac ninety seven thousand only).
3. Tenderers shall quote rates
against various terms and conditions enclosed.
4. Price bids (Part-II) of the
tender will be opened only for the bidders whose Technical bids have been found
to be acceptable as per the eligibility criteria mentioned in the tender
document.
5. Time allowed for completion
of the work is 30 working days from the 3rd day of the receipt of the
work order by the firm.
6. Tender document will be
issued from the office of the Engineer (Civil), IACS between 11.30 AM to 2.30 PM
on every working day on payment of Rs. 500.00 in cash from 04.01.2012 to
18.01.2012.
7. The complete Two Part Tenders
placed in sealed envelop as per the instruction in the terms & conditions
superscribed with the name of the work and due date of submission should be
dropped in the Tender Box kept at the Civil Engineering Section kept at the
first floor of the Centenary building, IACS, Jadavpur, up to: 3.00 PM on
20.01.2012.
The Technical Part (Part – I) of
the tender will be opened on 20.01.2012 at 4.00 PM in presence of the
participating bidders.
Price bids of the shortlisted
qualified bidders will be opened on a date and time, which will be intimated
later on.
8. The Technical Part of the
tender should be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 20,000/= in
the form of Demand Draft/ Pay Order/ Banker’s Cheque drawn from any scheduled
Bank in favour of “Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science”,
payable at Kolkata.
Tender
received without EMD shall be summarily rejected. The complete tender document
along with this NIT is also available in our Association’s Website
www.iacs.res.in. Bonafide firms can download the tender document from our
website and should submit the tender with a separate DD/BC/Pay Order of Rs.
500/- as the cost of tender document apart from EMD.
