Sealed item rate tenders are invited from specialized firms having experience in renovation and interior decoration works including civil works for “Renovation work pertaining to Civil, Interior and Plumbing works at Second Floor of Solar Research Building, IACS, Jadavpur.”

Tender documents will be sold from the office of the Engineer of IACS between 11.30 AM to 2.00 PM on every working day on payment of Rs.500/- (Non refundable) in cash from 27.12.10 to 06.01.11.

The work is estimated to cost of Rs. 14,80,566.00. The estimate however, is mentioned as a rough guideline. 

Completed tenders along with the Earnest Money amounting to Rs. 37,000.00 in the form of Pay Order / Demand draft from any Scheduled bank drawn in favour of  “Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science”,  will be received up to 3 PM on 10.01.2011. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.30 PM in the presence of intending enterers. 

Eligibility criteria for issue of tender Documents :- 

Satisfactory completion certificate of at least two similar works ( comprising of renovation, interior decoration, plumbing etc. ) each costing not less than 7.40 lakhs or one 11.80 lakhs during last five years, under Govt. /Semi Govt./ or Govt. Autonomous Bodies. Trade license, Income tax and Sales tax clearance papers, VAT Reg. no., Company profile, permanent address, telephone number etc. are also to be submitted. 

The tender paper will only be issued by the Engineering Section, if the minimum eligible criteria as stated above is fulfilled.  

Complete tender document will also be available on the website of IACS, www.iacs.res.in and could be downloaded for submission. Those who will submit tender by downloading from website should deposit Rs.500/- in from of non refundable demand draft positively along with the tender separately.
