Suhrit Ghosh is currently working as an associate professor at Polymer Science Unit, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, India. He obtained B. Sc. (Chemistry) in 1997 from Presidency College, University of Calcutta, India and subsequently moved to Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore where he completed M. S. (Chemistry) in 2000 and continued for Ph.D. till 2005 on folding of synthetic polymers. Then he moved to USA for postdoctoral studies (2005-2007) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and worked on polymer aggregation in aqueous medium. During 2007-2008, he worked as an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellow in the Institute for Organic Chemistry, University of Würzburg, Germany where he studied assembly of various perylene dyes. In 2008 Suhrit came back to India and started his research group at IACS, Kolkata.
