The current thrust of the group is to investigate problems on nonlinear dynamics, chemical dynamics and stochastic processes, particularly in the context of rate theory of chemical reactions, quantum Brownian motion, nonequilibrium fluctuation induced phenomena, like, ratchets and pattern formation in reaction-diffusion systems.
