INVITATION

 The Department of Spectroscopy, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Jadavpur, Kolkata 700032, INDIA is organising the NATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON SPECTROSCOPY AND ITS APPLICATIONS (NSSA-2006) during January 18 - 20, 2006 to celebrate the 60th year of its existence.

The scientific programme will include invited talks, in-depth discussion and oral/poster presentation of contemporary research.

The organising committee cordially invites interested researchers and young scientists to submit their research papers and actively participate in the symposium.

CALL OF PAPERS

 Two copies of one page (A4 size) abstract of research paper intended to present at the symposium should reach the convener by 01/09/05. Abstract may be submitted in hard copy or by e-mail as an attached file in MSWORD format (Font New Times Roman, size 11). A CD containing the abstract must be sent along with the hard copy. The organising committee is planning to publish the proceeding of the lectures.

PRESENTATION

 Overhead / Power Point projector will be available of oral presentation. An area of 1Meter X 1Meter will be provided for each poster presentation.
