Arindam Banerjee
Profesor and Head

Born on 2nd October 1966. Passed M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan in 1988 securing 1st Class. Earned Ph.D. in Biophysics in 1997 from Molecular Biophysics unit, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; was a Visiting Scientist (Postdoctoral Fellow) in Weizman Institute of Science from 1998 January to June 1998 in the department of Membrane Research & Biophysics. Joined IACS on 1st July 1998 as a lecturer in this department and became Professor with effect from December, 2009.
